New Location, Same IFC
. . . Following COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
New Location. IFC is pleased to continue its 40-year long partnership with the Mount Prospect Park District at RecPlex, the district’s multisport facility at 420 W. Dempster St., Mount Prospect, 60056. We are meeting in the RecPlex gym with a wood athletic surface and plenty of room for social distancing, but class size is limited under COVID safety guidelines.
Youth Classes. IFC is offering seven youth classes: Introduction to Fencing, Beginner Fencing, Intermediate Foil, Beginner Epee, Intermediate Epee, Advanced Foil, and Advanced Epee. Classes are limited to 8 students. Additional information can be found under the Classes tab above.
Tournaments. IFC is ready to hold tournaments when the Illinois Division of US Fencing again sanctions local tournaments. Our season schedule typically includes our long-standing Dominick Epee Challenge, as well as four 3-weapon tournaments: Open, Division 2, Division 3, and Youth.
Open Fencing. IFC will resume open fencing for members as soon as it is allowed under COVID safety guidelines and park district operating procedures.

It is a member operated not-for-profit sports association that has been serving beginning, recreational, and competitive fencers for more than 40 years. IFC is a USA Fencing member club, operating according to U.S. Center for SafeSport guidelines and COVID-19 Safety guidelines.
